By local bus
From the bus station in Pula you can take line no. 5, but unfortunately not directly to the marina. The bus stop is called ŠTINJAN. Overview of timetables From there you have to take a cab.
At Ljubljana, stay on the E61/A11 and follow the road, which then becomes the A1 and later the E751/A9 and leads directly to Pula. Leave the freeway at
in the direction of the center of Pula and take the first exit at the third traffic circle (surrounded by Konzum, Lidl and Kaufland). From there it is about 15 minutes to Marina Polesana.
Parking
There are supervised parking spaces on the marina grounds for €10 per day and €61 per week. The spaces cannot be reserved. If this is full, you can use unguarded, free parking spaces in the surrounding area.
Arrival from Pula Airport
It is only 11 km from Pula Airport to our port of departure and destination.
By bus
30 minutes after arrival at the airport, a shuttle bus runs to Pula to the bus station near the city center, cost € 6. Tickets can be purchased by credit card or cash. From the bus station you would then have to take a cab to the port.

ACI Marina Pula

Take the bus to AUTOBUSNI KOLODVOR PULA. From there, the marina is about 1 km away and it takes about 15 minutes to walk from the bus station to ACI Marina Pula. Otherwise, there are also various public bus lines to the marina such as No. 25c, 3a, 5, 23a, 25c-x and it takes about 2 minutes with 2 intermediate stops. The cost is around €2, which you can pay on the spot. Otherwise there is also the possibility to call a cab. The train station is not directly in the city but is located by the sea. From here it also takes about 15 minutes to walk to the ACI Marina Pula.

Leave the highway in the direction of the center of Pula and take the second exit at the third traffic circle (surrounded by Konzum, Lidl and Kaufland). From there, continue straight on until you reach a traffic circle and take the second exit to ACI Marina Pula.
Parking
You can park your car in the marina for 80 EUR per week, otherwise you can park in a 24-hour video-monitored parking lot next to the marina. Parking costs for one day 20 €, for one week: 150,- EUR.
The marina is 7.7 km from Pula airport.
By bus (cheapest option)

There are supervised parking spaces on the marina grounds for EUR 17 per day and EUR 70 per week. After entering the marina, the parking spaces are located on the right-hand side (dry dock area). No reservations are made because there are usually enough parking spaces available. However, if this is full, you can use unguarded, free parking spaces in the surrounding area.

Arriving by train
The train station in Rijeka is only 1 kilometer away from the marina, so it can easily be reached on foot.
Alternatively, you can take the local bus from the train station. Some bus lines go to the marina such as No. 1a, 1, 2, 6, 7 and the bus stop is called Žabica. Costs approx. 2 - 3 € per trip.

Arriving by bus
The bus station is only 300 meters from the marina and therefore easily accessible on foot.
At Ljubljana, stay on the E61/A11/E70 and follow the road until exit 41 towards Rijeka. Follow the A6, which becomes the A7/E61 after the border. Leave the highway 22 kilometers after the border in the direction of Viskovo (yellow sign, exit 6). Turn left and follow the road towards the center. After passing under the highway, turn right towards Krajevo, Turnic, and at the first possibility turn diagonally left and the next left again. After the traffic lights, turn right again. When you reach the sea, turn left. Follow the road until the left lane leads into a tunnel and keep right (do not turn off). Shortly afterwards, there are plenty of parking spaces on the right-hand side and you have reached your destination.

You can only get to Novi Vinodolski by bus, but you can take the train to Rijeka from Germany, Austria or Switzerland, for example, and from there take the bus to the marina.
Arriving by bus
The Arriva long-distance buses travel directly to Novi Vinodolski. The bus station in Novi Vinodolski is only 600 m away from the marina and is therefore easy to reach on foot (approx. 8 min.).
The Flixbus only goes to Cirkvencia, Dramalj or Jadranovo, which are a few kilometers away from the marina. From there we recommend a cab to the marina.

Unfortunately, there is no direct bus from the airport to the marina. You could take a cab to the Omisalj Prikeste stop (approx. 4km) and from there take an Arriva bus, which takes approx. 1h 40 min. This costs approx. 10 € and goes directly to Punat. From the bus stop in Punat to the marina it is approx. 1.5 km, from there you can take a cab or walk (approx. 18 min).

Arrival:
Take the long-distance bus (e.g. Flixbus) in the direction of Pula to Poreč bus station. The station is approx. 10 km from the marina. From there you can take an Arriva bus, which takes about 15 minutes, to the Visar Central Bus Station stop. From there, continue on foot to the marina (approx. 12 min).

At Ljubljana, stay on the E61/A1 and follow the road further south. After the Slovenian-Croatian border at Dragonja, the road becomes the A9 (Istrian Y). Continue on the A9 and take exit 3 in the direction of Kanfanar/Rovinj/Vrsar. Follow the D303 to Rovinj and then continue on the D21 towards Vrsar. In Vrsar, follow the signs to Marina Vrsar, which is located directly on the coast near the town center.

There are supervised parking spaces on the marina grounds. There are further parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the marina.

By bus
Take bus no. 23a from the airport (ZRAČNA LUKA) in the direction of Pula and get off at the AUTOBUSNI KOLODVOR stop (approx. 19 min, 9 stops), i.e. one stop further than the bus station. However, the bus stop at the airport is a little outside and you have to walk for about 10 minutes. Here you can see the timetables of the bus lines in Pula. Then take the Arriva bus from the Pula Central Bus Station in the direction of Poreč to the Vrsar Central Bus Station (approx. 1h 23min, 14 stops). From there continue on foot to the marina (approx. 12 min).

What happens after I book my cruise?

After your booking, you will receive further information by email at regular intervals. This includes tips on packing, advice on meal planning, etc.
About a week before the start of the trip, we create a Whatsapp group where you can get to know each other as a crew and the skipper.
Approx. 5 days before the start of the cruise you will receive the final arrival information including a harbor plan and berth.

When can I leave?

The yacht returns to the port of departure on Friday between 3 and 6 pm.
The last night is spent on the yacht.
The yacht is left on Saturday around 9 am.
Departure within this time frame is possible.

When does the crew meet and can I come outside the recommended arrival time?

The crew usually meets between 2 and 4 p.m. in the marina or a nearby café.

What is the on-board cash box?

The on-board fund is the group fund for food, harbor fees, fuel, excursions, etc. Each crew member pays in approx. 200-300 € at the beginning of the trip, depending on the area. A crew member manages the money. At the end, any remaining money is paid back. Tip: "Splitwise" app.
According to sailor's custom, the skipper's meals are also paid for from the on-board cash box.

Yes, every yacht has at least two bathrooms with toilet, washbasin and shower. The facilities are functional and rather cramped. As water is a scarce commodity, it is not possible to take long showers every day. Water tanks can be refilled in harbors and there are usually comfortable sanitary facilities.

Can I smoke on board?

Smoking is only permitted on deck. Ideally on the leeward side so that the smoke does not drift towards other guests. Consideration is important.
