Take the wheel

Take the wheel

As a skipper for us, you are the captain of modern yachts in areas where it is nice and warm. Together with your young crew, you decide where to go every day. If you are not yet familiar with the different areas, we have a skipper guide after which you will know each area like the back of your hand. As skipper you are responsible for guiding the crew safely through the area. You distribute tasks and keep an eye on what's going on under sail.

Your crew is your age so that you feel totally comfortable. We try to have a balanced gender ratio on all our trips. Your crews are between 20 and 40 years old and fully aware that you are on a sailing holiday together.

We take over the organization

With us you can concentrate fully on skippering. Our office team will take care of the formalities so that you can take your crew on their dream holiday.

You can also connect with a network of over 400 skippers and thus continuously expand your sailing experience. We also connect our skippers with other skippers in the respective area on every trip. So you can meet up in the evening for a sundowner at the beach bar or to sail in flotilla.

Our office team is always on hand with help and advice should any complications arise. At sailwithus you never feel left alone in a situation.

Skipper job totally your thing! What happens now?

Skipper job totally your thing! What happens now?

You are welcome to send us a brief skipper CV, listing only your certificates and previous skipper experience. It would be great if you could also indicate which yacht sizes you have sailed with.

As soon as we have received your application, we will check whether your hard facts match our expectations. We will then contact you quickly for a non-binding interview to get to know you personally. As soon as you have shown us how much you enjoy sailing, we will arrange a longer meeting with you. There we can make a plan together as to what your assignment should look like. And then you can get started by joining the skipper trip, sailing yourself or sailing in a flotilla! If you have any questions about the skipper job, please send us an email to skipper@sailwithus.de.
