A sailing vacation in the Baltic Sea is pure relaxation. We usually start in Flensburg or Sønderborg and dive straight into the "Danish South Sea". This area south of Funen is one of the most popular in Europe because it is incredibly diverse. The many islands act like breakwaters, so we mostly sail in calm waters – perfect for anyone on board for the first time. The legs are short, leaving plenty of time for shore leave, swimming or simply lazing around on deck. The long Nordic summer evenings, when it stays light until late into the night, create a very special atmosphere.

Each island has its own character. On the island of Alsen, the mixture of history (Düppeler Schanzen) and modern harbor life is impressive. Ærø is an absolute must: whether in the seafaring town of Marstal or the doll's house-like Ærøskøbing – it's so cozy ("hyggelig") here that you won't want to leave. Nature lovers will get their money's worth on Lyø or Avernakø, where you can take wonderful walks. A highlight is often a barbecue together at the perfectly equipped barbecue areas in the Danish harbors. And if you're lucky, you might spot porpoises accompanying the boat.
