The route shown is a suggestion based on optimal conditions. The final route is decided daily by the crew together with the skipper - depending on weather, wind, crew wishes and current conditions. This makes every trip an individual adventure!

Day 1

Saturday

Your sailing vacation with Sailwithus is simply uncomplicated. It starts with the journey to Corfu. Every Saturday, there are flights from Frankfurt to Corfu. From there, you can take a taxi or bus to Gouvia Marina (15 minutes away). Between 2 and 4 p.m., it's time to meet up for a week of sailing in Corfu! Everyone is excited to discover Corfu without a car. Just a quick shopping trip with the crew and organizing the coming week. After 5 p.m., it's time to check in to the yacht. You'll go out for dinner together and get to know each other before setting sail the next morning.

Your sailing trip in Greece begins with four to ten fellow sailors plus the skipper. With Corfu, you have chosen a protected and green sailing area. You can hardly wait to finally reach Paxos with what are probably the most beautiful caves in Greece. When sailing around Corfu, the Greek island of Paxos is definitely one of the most sought-after Corfu tips. You drop anchor in a picturesque fishing village, right by the jetty.

In the evening, you end the day on the yacht.

You and the skipper put your heads together to decide which shore excursions you can take as part of your Paxos Antipaxos boat tour. You agree: the beautiful town of Parga is on your agenda for tomorrow.

Day 4 - Of course, you will enjoy all the benefits of Antipaxos. The small island with only 120 inhabitants is famous for its beautiful beaches and blue caves. There is something special about strolling through the cobblestone streets of the town. There is a church to visit on almost every corner. There is even a church museum in the center of Parga. Then you walk through olive groves, past water mills and waterfalls, up to the church of Ai Sostis, which is located in a natural cave. Not far away is Lichnos Beach.

Is sustainable travel possible?

Yes.

Some sailing destinations can be reached by train, ferry or long-distance bus.

Which insurance policies are useful?

Insurance is not mandatory, but recommended:

When does the crew meet and can I come outside the recommended arrival time?

The crew usually meets between 2 and 4 p.m. in the marina or a nearby café.

From around 5 p.m., the skipper can board the yacht and carry out the handover. Meanwhile, the crew goes shopping.

Late arrival is possible in exceptional cases by arrangement.

Saturday is an organization day - sailing usually takes place on Sunday after the safety briefing.

Which piece of luggage is best?

A sports bag or hiking rucksack is best.

Please do not bring a hard-shell suitcase - there is no storage space for it and it is always in the way.

What happens after I book my cruise?

After your booking, you will receive further information by email at regular intervals. This includes tips on packing, advice on meal planning, etc.

About a week before the start of the trip, we create a Whatsapp group where you can get to know each other as a crew and the skipper.

Approx. 5 days before the start of the cruise you will receive the final arrival information including a harbor plan and berth.

And then it's time to cast off!

Do I need a passport or identity card?

That depends on the area.

An identity card is sufficient in most districts.

A passport is required for overseas destinations (Thailand, Caribbean, Seychelles, etc.).

Recommendation: Check current information with the Federal Foreign Office.

Will I get to know my fellow sailors before departure?

Yes, a WhatsApp group will be created in the week before your trip. You can discuss travel and organization there.

Are there bed linen, pillows and towels on board?

Yes, you will be provided with bed linen and a towel.

But bring another towel yourself.

A beach towel is not necessary - you jump straight into the sea.
